Recap of some events this july/august. =) August 1 - 4 The most recent activity was the trip to bangkok. It is shopping and more shopping for us. Seems that i did not buy enough stuffs tho. Haha. Took cab practically to everywhere to the extent of 6 of us in one cab. Haha. How can you imagine it. On the first day, we met at the airport at 4.30am to check in for our flight at 6.30am. Arrive at 7.30 am (bkk time) but there was alittle miscommunication regarding transport and resulted in us wasting some time in the airport.  In tiger airbus A320. Look at the space! Arrive at the hotel at 10 plus i think. After packing up and settling down, we went to MBK , siam centre and followed by platinum. Had a very lousy ramen for lunch. Thereafter, we went to siam centre where we had fondue and waffle for tea time. It was rather cheap for such a sumptous dessert. Headed to platinum thereafter. Platinum still got the most things to buy from but we were late and hence most of the shops were closed. Had dinner at the Platinum food court. Visited Baiyoke Sky Hotel which is the tallest building in Bangkok. The night view was fabulous.  MBK in the background.  Desserts from swensen!!!  View of BKK from 77th storey. The next day, we visited chinatown. Nth much to get as you have to buy everything in dozens. Went on platinum where we had lunch again at the food court followed by shopping. Dinner at coca. Had the buffet but it was disappointing as compared to last time.
Chatuchak is simply too big for us to finish walking it. Somehow disappointed that we miss a whole section of it where there is potential buys which i used to cover the last trip. But nevertheless, it was really fun shopping with elaine. Haha. Thereafter, went back to MBK to grab some last minutes snack for the family as well as lunch in the food court. 5Pm and we left the hotel to proceed to the airport for check in. =)
Note: BK in the airport is very very expensive. =x P/S: The one and only earring that i bought left only one side. Hah. I drop the other into the sink. Sian. Feel so wasted. 29 July Had a celebration bbq on this special day to celebrate yan birthday. Much have to be considered in order to make it a smooth celebration. Hehe. Much new ideas about what food to be serve have been unveiled through many msning sessions. Sometimes it is really nice to have such things that keeps everyone together once in a while. =) Not forgetting how we managed to keep the cheesecake from her till it was time for the song. Haha.

Played another interesting called gift trap. Haha. So funny. Had dinner at waraku with them and thereafter we sat by the singapore river for some chats . On friday, we went to pratunam area but this time, i didnt really see anything as compared to the last trip. Walked to Big C where we bought tom yam noodles and had a donut feast. Haha. Went back to hotel where we had room service for dinner before proceeding to suan lum nite market for more shopping. A long and tiring night. Played till 4am before catching up on our sleep to prepare ourself for chatuchak!
